With the 50th pick in the NBA Draft, the Indiana Pacers selected Missouri State forward Alize Johnson.

The power forward played just two years at Missouri State before entering the draft. Last year, he averaged 15 points per game along with 11.6 rebounds.
It’s clear what Johnson brings to the table: He is an elite rebounder, despite being undersized for his position. He’s also shown a versatile skillset, developing a perimeter game to go with his interior presence. There are question marks, however, about the consistency of his jumper.
It’s unlikely that Johnson will earn a major role in the rotation, barring any unforeseen developments. He’s a good candidate to spend some time in the G-League, but he could develop into a role guy down the road if he continues to develop his offensive game.
