This week’s AP Poll is as kind to mid-majors as its been all year.
After being ranked No. 2 last week, Gonzaga climbed up the No. 1 spot in the country following Duke’s loss to North Carolina to relinquish the top spot. The Zags are also No. 2 in KenPom and No. 1 in the NET.
The other highlight, however, comes out of Spartanburg. After knocking on the door for a couple of weeks, Wofford finally cracked the top 25, coming in at No. 24.
Elsewhere in the poll, Nevada fell out of the top 10 following the Wolf Pack’s loss to San Diego State last week. The Wolf Pack still have just two losses on the year, and are the No. 12 team in the poll this week.
Buffalo continued its stay in the top 25 at No. 21, making it the 16th consecutive week in the poll for the Bulls.
The following teams were also among those receiving votes: VCU 4, Old Dominion 2, New Mexico State 1.
