NCAA Basketball: Lipscomb at Louisville Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

After dominating for much of the regular season, the last couple of weeks of the ASUN title race was a battle between Lipscomb and Liberty. Both teams had chances to create separation, but neither claimed their stake before the final day. After both teams won on Friday night, the regular season title will be shared between the two. Lipscomb (14-2) ultimately claimed the top seed via tiebreaker, and will have the advantage of hosting each game they play on their home court as the Bisons pursue their second straight NCAA Tournament bid.

Liberty (14-2), who split the season series with the Bisons, takes the No. 2 spot in their inaugural year as a member of the ASUN. North Florida (9-7) and Florida Gulf Coast (9-7) will also host first round matchups as the No. 3 and 4 seeds, respectively.

North Alabama (7-9) claims the No. 6 seed in their first season as a member of Division I, but will not be eligible for the NCAA Tournament. Stetson is the odd man out after finishing in ninth place and will not participate in the tournament.
