We’ve reached the end.
After way too many “way too early” polls and 18 weeks of game action, this is the final The Other Top 25 poll for the 2018-19 college basketball season.
Like always, Gonzaga is No. 1 overall, and for the second week in a row, Wofford, Buffalo, and Nevada follow in that order. All four of those teams will hear their names called on Selection Sunday.
And so will Murray State! The Fightin’ Ja Morants won the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament this weekend by knocking off Belmont and head into the Big Dance as the No. 5 overall team in our poll. VCU and Utah State both seem like safe at-large selections if they don’t win their conference tournaments, and they follow the Racers.
The only newcomer in the rankings is the No. 25 Utah Valley. The Wolverines, who have won seven straight to close out WAC play, could be on a collision course to match up with No. 8 New Mexico State in WACVegas this weekend.
