The greatest three weeks in all of sports is finally here.
The NCAA Tournament Selection Show takes place Sunday night, and by the end, we will know all 68 teams in the field, who they are playing, and where they are going. It was exciting just to type that.
You now have all day to read up, sharpen your pencils, and print out your blank brackets so you can fill them in as Greg Gumbel unveils each matchup. Even better: CBS is going back to the old format this year and will reveal each team as it is placed in the bracket. No more alphabetical bubble nonsense.
As always, the Big Ten championship game will lead into the Selection Show, so no matter who wins that one, please just make it a quick game. We have selections to argue about.
Here’s when and how to watch the Selection Show. And, once the bracket is revealed, be sure to check in with Mid-Major Madness where we will break it all down and tell you why the committee was wrong.
