Perhaps it’s because Duke is a mainstream, blue-blood school, or perhaps they have future lottery picks like RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish, but the No. 1-overall Blue Devils have the best odds to cut down the nets in Minneapolis.
However, Gonzaga is second on the list with 5/1 odds, which just so happens to be higher than North Carolina and Tennessee — two teams that beat the Zags earlier this season.

Some odds of note:
- The 6-seeded Buffalo Bulls — not the 7-seeded Nevada Wolf Pack — have the second-best odds amongst mid-majors. They currently sit at +8500.
- 13-seed Vermont has is the highest seed with the worst odds. They’re at 2000/1, which is worse than schools like the 16-seeded Iona Gaels, 15-seeded Montana Griz and 14-seed Old Dominion and all four 14-seeds.
- Despite being the No. 46 overall seed, Murray State Racers have the 34th-best odds amongst the field.
- Required shoutout to the North Carolina Central Eagles for being Vegas’s most unlikely NCAA Tournament champion. But there’s still a chance!
