NCAA Basketball: Akron at Buffalo Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Buffalo has been the biggest story in the MAC, and rightfully so. The Bulls (16-2) have been a nationally ranked team for much of the season, and are virtually a lock for the NCAA Tournament whether they win the MAC Tournament or not. As the No. 1 seed in the MAC Tournament, the path via automatic bid seems like the most likely option.

On the other side of the bracket, the Bulls biggest threats come from a talented Toledo (13-5) team and a Bowling Green (12-6) squad that handed Buffalo one of its two losses in conference play. It should be a fun week in Cleveland that results in another dominant Buffalo run or a two-bid MAC.
