The 2020-21 college basketball season is officially underway. I know. I’ve seen it with my own two eyes. The teams are playing the sport.
Now that The Day We Thought Might Never Come is actually here, it’s time to get you all up in arms about our rankings. Over the last month, we’ve unveiled who we believe are the best 25 teams from outside of college basketball’s major conferences (wording chosen very carefully, we’re not getting into the Gonzaga thing again). Some of you got mad, sure, but nothing really riles up the internet like putting all our rankings in one place, so here you go.
We also thought it best to tell you the teams who JUST missed the cut and will probably be in the rankings as soon as a ranked team screws up. So, without further ado, here is the 2020-21 preseason The Other Top 25, complete with each team’s individual profile:
