Saturday’s Slate

Rider vs. Central Arkansas - @ 6 a.m. ET, ESPN+

To kick off the weekend, we’ve got an early morning Saturday battle from the National Basketball Arena in Dublin, Ireland as the two go head to head in this year’s MAAC/ASUN Challange.

No. 21 Dayton vs. Robert Morris - @ 1 p.m. ET, ESPN+

Nationally ranked Dayton welcomes a strong 2-1 Robert Morris squad led by Enoch Cheeks averaging 19.3 PPG.

Saint Louis vs. Maryland - @ 1 p.m. ET, ESPN News

Following a 90-84 victory over Memphis, can Yuri Collins and company keep it rolling and fend off the Terrapins in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament?

Eastern Michigan vs. Oakland - @ 3 p.m. ET, ESPN+

Emoni Bates looks to continue his scoring dominance against Greg Kampe and Trey Townsend who’ll need to bounce back at home following three consecutive losses.

Southeast Missouri State vs. Bradley - @ 4 p.m. ET, ESPN+

Following a win over USF last week, 3-0 SEMO travels for a matchup with Bradley who just managed a big victory of their own taking down Bates and Eastern Michigan.

North Texas vs. Fresno State - @ 6 p.m. ET, ESPN+

Two of the higher-ranked mid-major programs on KenPom’s list meet for a battle in Denton, Texas with both programs trying to rebound from tough losses.

Florida Atlantic vs. Detroit Mercy - @ 6 p.m. ET, C-USA TV

After taking down a strong Bryant offense, FAU will have another tough test in the Titans, who are led by one of the nation’s top scorers in Antoine Davis with 23.7 PPG.

New Mexico vs. New Mexico State - @ 7 p.m. ET, Mountain West Network

Let the battle for New Mexico commence!

Portland vs. Seattle - @ 8 p.m. ET, WCC Network

With Cameron Tyson averaging 33.5 PPG, the Redhawks take their high-flying offense to Portland to meet the 4-1 Pilots.

Saint Mary’s vs. Hofstra - @ 8:30 p.m. ET, WCC Network

Following a 3-0 start to the season, Speedy Claxton and the Pride head out to the West Coast to match up with another undefeated mid-major and one of the nation’s best in the Gaels.

Sunday Showdowns

No. 1 North Carolina vs. James Madison - @ noon ET, ACC Network

One of the best up-and-coming mid-major programs in the nation gets a shot at the crown after a 4-0 start.

Samford vs. Texas Southern - @ 3 p.m. ET, ESPN+

After three battles with ranked opponents to open the season, a 1-4 but strong Texas Southern team needs to bounce back against the 4-0 Bulldogs.

Seton Hall vs. Wagner - @ 3 p.m. ET, FS1

Another interesting storyline for Shaheen Holloway heading into the weekend as he’ll host former Seton Hall assistant Donald Copeland and the Seahawks.

Memphis vs. VCU - @ 5 p.m. ET, ESPN+

An American Athletic Conference powerhouse and an Atlantic-10 powerhouse are set to face off Sunday afternoon with the Rams likely missing star guard Ace Baldwin.

No. 2 Gonzaga vs. No. 4 Kentucky - @ 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Yes, I know we don’t consider Gonzaga a mid-major program around here… but after the brutal upset loss to Texas earlier this week I felt it fair to include them this week.

Oregon vs. No. 3 Houston - @ 9:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Nationally-ranked Houston will travel to meet a decent Pac-12 team in the Ducks who are managing after a tough home loss to UC Irvine last week.
