The top 13 teams in the Other Top 25 remained the same this week. Houston kept its stronghold on the top spot after its victories over North Carolina A&T and Virginia, who was ranked No. 2 in the AP and USA Today Coaches Polls. Gonzaga kept pace at No. 2 with wins against Northern Illinois and Alabama, who was in the top five in the country.

San Diego State jumped back up to No. 3 in the ranking as undefeated New Mexico claimed the fourth spot. The Lobos are 11-0 after they topped San Francisco and Iona this week. In the 82-74 victory over the Gaels, Richard Pitino earned his first win over his father Rick. Morris Udeze paces New Mexico with 18.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest.

Memphis and Saint Mary’s followed and were separated by just one point. Charleston, Utah State and UAB rounded out the top 10. At 9-0, the Aggies are one of a handful of unblemished teams.

San Francisco returned to the Other Top 25 after falling out last week. The Dons fell to New Mexico to begin the week but bounced back with a two-point win at UNLV, which was the Runnin’ Rebels’ first loss of the season.

After a two-week absence, UC Santa Barbara came tied for 19th. The Gauchos are 8-2 on the year and have won four straight games.

Each of the final four spots in the Other Top 25 belonged to teams who were not ranked last week. Dayton came in at 22, followed by 10-1 Louisiana, Western Kentucky and Richmond.
