2013 Big Sky Conference tournament schedule

The Big Sky tournament returns to Missoula.

After the conference's first 20-game schedule, the Montana Grizzlies have earned the right to host the Big Sky Conference tournament yet again. The Grizzlies posted a 19-1 conference record and sealed up tournament-hosting rights with a win over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks on Saturday.

The Big Sky tournament takes on a new look this season. The former six-team field expands to seven this year (due to the conference expanding to 11 teams), and all games will take place at Montana's Dahlberg Arena.

Previously, first round games were held at the sites of seeds 3 and 4 while seeds 1 and 2 byed to the semifinals. Now, only the 1-seed enjoys a first-round bye. The process of re-seeding after the first round remains from previous years.

The first two rounds will be available live online on Big Sky TV, and the championship will air on ESPNU.
