Oddsmakers and computers have laid down lines and predictions for the 2013 Big Sky tournament, and the results are a touch surprising.
Montana and Weber State are neck-and-neck to win the tournament crown, with Weber getting a slight nod in computer models despite Montana's role as tournament host.
For tournament odds, the conference's top two schools are given same odds. Much like my tournament preview from Tuesday, oddsmakers look highly upon Northern Colorado despite North Dakota's spot as the three seed.
BetUS.com
Weber State -115
Montana -115
Northern Colorado +1800
North Dakota +3000
Montana State +7500
Southern Utah +7500
Northern Arizona +10000
Covers.com
Montana 10:11
Weber State 10:11
Field 15:4
The prediction model at TeamRankings.com gives Weber State a slight edge to win the tournament and also pegs Northern Colorado as the best of the field behind Weber and Montana.
