Weber State thought it was headed to double overtime Saturday night thanks to a clutch shot by Davion Berry, but Dylan Garrity had other ideas.
The Sacramento State junior took a three-quarter court heave that caught all net and propelled the Hornets to the win, 78-75. The shot made the SportsCenter Top 10, and was one of the best highlights of a night of craziness in college basketball.
It also overshadowed an amazing night of shooting from Mikh McKinney, who was 10-for-17 from the field for 30 points, while also dishing out three assists. Garrity finished with 13 points, none bigger than the ones that came on the big fly from the Wildcat free throw line.
Berry led Weber State with 29 points.
The Hornets are now 4-6 in the Big Sky conference and Weber State drops to 8-2, just a game in front of our friends the Northern Colorado Bears.
