Former Delaware Blue Hen Jarvis Threatt to Turn Pro

After being dismissed from Delaware, Jarvis Threatt will not transfer and will instead chase a professional career.

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Jarvis Threatt was officially dismissed by Delaware this past June and now it seems as if the 6'2 guard will turn to a professional career and will not transfer to another program.

The Richmond, Virginia native missed a good portion of last season, along with Marvin King-Davis, for violation of team rules. Both returned right before the Blue Hens' CAA title run and Threatt averaged 19.7 points, 7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists during the CAA Tournament. He also posted 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists against Michigan State in the Blue Hens' game in the NCAA Tournament.

All in all, Threatt ended his three year career at Delaware averaging 13.7 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Delaware will begin their CAA title defense when they open the season Monday, November 17 at Liberty. The Blue Hens will be lead by senior guard Kyle Anderson and the previously mentioned King-Davis.
