According to multiple reports, Hampton has picked up a commitment from 2016 prospect Jermaine Marrow. He comes out of Newport News, Virginia and plays at Heritage High School. Marrow is listed at 5'10" and also received attention from Holy Cross, Old Dominion, and Virginia, Virginia Tech among others. He is currently one of three commitments in Hampton's 2016 recruiting class. Hampton started this season at 11-7 overall.

The Pirates have picked up a commitment from 2016 prospect Jaekwon Carlyle. He comes out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and plays at Imhotep Institute Charter High School. Carlyle is listed at 6'0" and 170 lbs and also had interest from Canisius, Maine, Morgan State, Monmouth, and Radford among others. He is one of two commitments in Hampton's 2016 recruiting class. He is set to join a rather deep backcourt for next season. Hampton went 17-18 overall last season.

The Bears recently got great news as they have landed 2015 prospect Martez Cameron. He comes out of Chicago, Illinois and played at De La Salle Institute. Cameron is listed at 5'11" and also received attention from Chicago State. He is set to join what is becoming a rather deep backcourt with several backcourt options including Donte Pretlow. Morgan State went 7-24 last season.

Williams is listed at 6'9" and also had interest from Coppin State. He is the first commit in Florida A&M's 2016 recruiting class.

Knowlin is listed at 6'4" and also had attention from Coastal Carolina and Longwood. He is the first commitment in Hampton's 2016 recruiting class. Last season, Hampton went 17-18 overall.

He comes out of Long Beach, California and played at San Bernardino Valley College. Benton is listed at 6'7" and 220 lbs and also had attention from Albany, Idaho, Montana State, and Portland State before committing. He will join a North Carolina Central roster that went 25-8 overall last season and received a bit to the NIT.
