Joe Cremo has slowly become a fixture at the three for Albany during the non-conference slate, even coming off the bench for the Great Danes. As one of the more efficient players in the country, you can see why coach Will Brown has made him a bigger part of the rotation.
Cremo made good on that increased playing time with a strong game against Niagara on Wednesday.
The freshman scored 25 points while going 9-for-12 from the floor, including a perfect 3-for-3 behind the 3-point line. He added two rebounds and two steals in the 65-56 win for the Great Danes.
For his strong performance against the Purple Eagles, Joe Cremo is our Mid-Major Madness Freshman of the Week.
