Recently, former Braves player Omar Beauperthuy opted to leave the program and he has found his destination with Florida National for the future. During his career, he played in 22 games, averaging 8.3 minutes, 0.8 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game last season. Beauperthuy was set to be a senior with the program this season.

The Delta Devils recently picked up a commitment from JUCO prospect Joey Gripper. He comes out of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania and played at Highland Community College. Gripper is listed at 6'1" and 173 lbs and also had attention from Texas Southern. He will join a Mississippi Valley State team that went 6-26 overall last season.
