Thanks to the folks at TheW.tv, we're able to bring you a live stream of tonight's West Coast Conference game between the Portland Pilots and San Diego Toreros.
These two teams last met on January 25th in Portland. In that game, the Toreros did just enough to earn a 65-63 victory.
San Diego is in eighth place with a 5-10 record in conference play. Portland sits fifth with a 7-7 record. The top six teams earn a bye into the quarterfinals of the WCC Tournament. Portland has a half game lead over sixth place Pepperdine and can maintain that position with a win tonight.
For the Toreros, who are two games out of sixth place with Gonzaga and BYU left on the schedule, a bye is likely out of reach.
Portland's frontcourt of Ryan Nicholas and Thomas van der Mars has been dominant this season. Tonight they'll have to contend with one of the WCC's best shot blockers, Jito Kok.
San Diego is led by the backcourt duo of Johnny Dee and Christopher Anderson. They'll be facing a hobbled at best Pilots' backcourt. Starters Kevin Bailey (missed past two games) and Alec Wintering are both questionable for tonight with calf injuries.
